It’s storming over here and not two days ago it was 80 degrees and sunny. Since the weather is being crazy and can’t yet decide if we are in spring or winter, I’ve been regularly drinking my got to sick tea to fight away the cold. It’s nothing fancy…literally just onions, garlic and lemon. Chop them all up, boil it and then bring it to simmer for 5-10 minutes. This is my go to!
You can also add other things. I usually include fresh peppermint leaves, ginger, cinnamon stick, fresh orange and chamomile. The flavor takes some getting used, but it will kick the cold like nothing else 🙂
